1.Patient who has suffered from 2 or more acute gouty arthritis attacks in the previous 12 months.
2.Patient clinically diagnosed of gout ,meeting the ACR/EULAR Gout classification criteria.
3.Patient willing to sign the informed consent form.
4.Patients having raised serum uric acid:
males : >7mg/dL
Females: >6mg/dL
5.Patient fit for basti karma.
1.Age group less than 30 years and exceeding 70 years are to be excluded.
2.Subject with a documented history of alcohol consumption.
3.Uncontrolled Hypertension ( >160/90 mm of Hg).
4.Pregnancy and lactation.
5.Patients of Hyperuricemia with gouty arthritis having chronicity more than 5 years,with the manifestation of tophi and associated with complete joint destructions.
6.Patients contra-indicated for basti karma.
7.Patient suffering from any other systemic disease.
