- •Implants and prosthetic restoration
- •- Implants at least 3 years under load
- •- Implants without clinical signs of inflammation
- •- Implants without radiological bone resorption
- •- Implants with machined smooth surface, parallel walls and hexagonal external connection (Brånemark Mark II and III, Nobel Biocare Zurich, Switzerland)
- •- Implants with rough surface, parallel-walled and three-channel internal connection (Nobel Replace, Nobel Biocare Nobel Biocare Zurich, Switzerland)
- •- Implants with lengths of 10 to 15 mm and diameters of 3.75 or 5 mm
- •- Implants inserted epicrestally
- •- Fixed prosthetic restorations (single crowns and bridges)
- •- Over 21 years of age at the time of implant placement
- •- treated periodontal disease (chronic periodontitis; stage I-II with grade A-C).
- •- No caries
- •- no pregnancy
- •- no current orthodontic treatment

- •Systemic diseases (e.g. cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, osteoporosis), untreated caries, pregnancy, current orthodontic treatment, drug and alcohol abuse, regular use of medication, mental illness, smokers.
