Immediate effects of Sub-occipital Myofascial release and sub- occipital myofascial release along with Sustained Natural Apophyseal Gilde on Headache, Neck disability and Cervical Range of Motion in subjects with Cervicogenic headache

研究概览
简要总结
The total duration for study will be one and a half year. A minimum of 50 participants of cervicogenic headache (male and female) between the age of 18-55 years will be included in the study on the basis of inclusion and exclusion criteria using random sampling. The subjects will be divided into 2 groups (25 subjects in each group). Group A will be the control group and will receive sub-occipital myofascial release along with conventional therapy. Group B will be the experimental group and will receive suboccipital myofascial release combined with SNAGs along with conventional physiotherapy. The treatment will be given for 30 minutes per session. The patients will be assessed using Neck Disability Index for neck disability, Universal Full Circle Goniometer for cervical range of motion and Numeric Pain Rating Scale for pain. The data will be collected immediately after the intervention.

- •Both male and females will be enrolled.
- •Individual of age group between 18 – 55 years.
- •Individual having cervicogenic headache with NPRS more than
- •Duration of symptoms of more than 6 months.
- •Patient should be cooperative and mentally fit.
排除标准
- •Cervical radiculopathy Subjects with whiplash injury within 6 weeks Subjects pre diagnosed with tumours or malignancy of cervical region Subjects with pre – diagnosed history of skin infections such as psoriasis, ulcers, eczema Subjects pre – diagnosed with inflammatory disorders of spine such as rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis.
