This case-control study aims to measure serum endocan levels in patients with colorectal cancer and healthy controls using ELISA and to compare the levels between the two groups.
详细描述
Colorectal cancer is a major cause of cancer-related morbidity and mortality. Circulating biomarkers such as endocan may provide useful information about disease characteristics.
This observational study will include newly diagnosed colorectal cancer patients and age- and sex-matched healthy controls. Serum endocan levels will be measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) before any treatment.

- •- Age 18 years or older
- •Newly diagnosed colorectal cancer confirmed by histopathology (cases)
- •No previous surgery, chemotherapy, or radiotherapy for colorectal cancer
- •Healthy adults with no history of cancer or inflammatory bowel disease (controls)
- •Written informed consent
排除标准
- •- Previous malignancy
- •Previous chemotherapy or radiotherapy for colorectal cancer
- •Active infection
- •Autoimmune disease
- •Chronic liver disease
- •Chronic kidney disease
- •Pregnancy
