Inclusion Criteria

1.60>Age ?18 years at the time of signing a consent form
2.Signed consent form
3.Resident of Mthatha and surrounding rural areas for the past 12 months
4.Have received counseling pre – and post-testing for HIV
5.Reports overnight fast

Exclusion Criteria

1.Use of antibiotics
2.Antidiabetic medication
3.Gastrointestinal disease
4.Smoking
5.Tested COVID19 positive in the three months prior to the data collection
