Inclusion Criteria

Aged 18-60 years
plan general anesthesia with endotracheal tube for surgery
ASA 1-2
understand in Thai language

Exclusion Criteria

refused consent
allergic to lidocaine
preexisting of liver and kidney disease
problem of language barrier
history of asthma and COPD
history upper respiratory tract infection in 2 week
history taking of ACEI
