入选标准
- •Astronaut group:
- •- Astronauts with a planned mission with a minimum of 5 months and a maximum of one year.
- •Master Athlete group:
- •- Regular training (>4 hrs per week) and participation in master athletics events.
- •- Age (+/- 2 years) and sex matched to one participant of the astronauts
- •- Body mass index = 28 kg/m²
- •Non-physically active group:
- •- Physical activity limited to 20 kilocalories per kg/Bodyweight per week
- •- Age (+/- 2 years) and sex matched to one participant of the astronauts
- •- Body mass index =28 kg/m²
- •All groups:
- •- Ability to perform VO2max testing, as defined by local med-ops
- •- Ability to consent
- •- Agreement and signed informed consent before the study
排除标准
- •Severe injuries or abnormalities of the lower extremity that interfere with muscle strength testing or vertical jump testing
- •Any debilitating disease, such as cancer or severe auto-immune diseases (use of anti-inflammatory drugs, statins therapy) that are likely to affect the inflammatory / anti-inflammatory balance
- •Any chronic infectious disease (hepatitis, HIV) that is likely to affect the inflammatory / anti-inflammatory balance
