Inclusion Criteria
All females above the age of 18 years undergoing Modified Radical Mastectomy for breast carcinoma at AIIMS Raipur in the Department of General Surgery
Exclusion Criteria
1. Not giving consent
2. Patients with known allergy to tranexamic acid
3. Patients with bleeding disorders
4. Males undergoing modified radical mastectomy
5. Patients undergoing quilting of flap

Name Time Method To compare the drain output in post operative Modified Radical <br/ ><br>Mastectomy patients receiving tranexamic acid perioperatively (TA group) versus patients not <br/ ><br>receiving Tranexamic acid (NTA group). <br/ ><br>Timepoint: from Post operative day 0, daily till removal of drain
