Brief Summary

According to National Vector Borne DiseasesControl Programme (NVBDCP), the overall documentation of Dengue cases in Indiawas 188401 in the year 2017, out of which 23,294 cases were from Tamil Nadu.In that 608 cases were reported from Madurai District and more number of cases wasreported from Melur Taluk. In spite of dengue preventive measures takenby the corporation of Madurai, the district has reported the highest number ofcases. So this particular study aims at the assessment of dengue preventivemeasures and its status of implementation from the community perspective.
