1. Patients diagnosed with chronic periodontitis stage III or IV, grade A
2. Interdental clinical attachment loss (CAL) of > 5 mm, probing pocket depth (PPD) of > 5 mm
3. Paired intrabony defect of > 3mm depth (including two and three walled-defects)
4. Patients undergoing guided tissue regeneration of intrabony defect (Group A and Group B).
5. Patients who are ready to give informed consent for blood withdrawal and GCF collection, and willing to undergo treatment and follow-ups.
1. History of known systemic diseases like diabetes, hypertension, human immunodeficiency virus, bone disorders, immunosuppressive therapy, radiation therapy, cancer, or blood disorders.
2. Patients on medications known to affect the outcomes of periodontal therapy.
3. Patients who have undergone any surgical periodontal therapy in the preceding 6 months.
4. Pregnant or lactating mothers.
