Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Age 18\-60 years
  • •Patient who provides consent
  • •Elective cardiac surgeries with LVEF (left ventricular ejection fraction) \>50%.
  • •ASA 1,2 and 3patients

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Paediatric patients
  • •Patient refusal to provide consent for study
  • •Emergency cardiac surgery
  • •Reexploration surgeries
  • •Patient allergic to study drug
  • •Patient on any antidepressant ,antipsychotics, history of adrenal insufficiency
  • •Pregnant patients
  • •Patients having history of drug abuse
