Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Age 18\-60 years
  • Patient who provides consent
  • Elective cardiac surgeries with LVEF (left ventricular ejection fraction) \>50%.
  • ASA 1,2 and 3patients

Exclusion Criteria

  • Paediatric patients
  • Patient refusal to provide consent for study
  • Emergency cardiac surgery
  • Reexploration surgeries
  • Patient allergic to study drug
  • Patient on any antidepressant ,antipsychotics, history of adrenal insufficiency
  • Pregnant patients
  • Patients having history of drug abuse
