Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\.The study will include patients aged 18 to 65 years diagnosed with chronic non\-specific low back
- •pain, defined as pain in the back, located between the last rib and the gluteal fold, with mechanical
- •characteristics lasting more than 3 months.
- •2 Patients with Self\-rated pain with an intensity of \>20 mm on the visual analogue scale for pain will be included in the study.
- •3\. Patients with mild VAS score \= 3\.4 cm corresponds best with mild pain and moderate VAS score 3\.5 to 7\.4 cm with moderate pain will be included in the study.
- •4\. Patients with a score of 14% or more on the Oswestry Disability Index (ODI), Independently mobile (with or without aids) to be capable of participating in a rehabilitation programme,will be included in the study.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.Patients having primary pain area other than the lower back (from T12 to buttocks), leg pain as the
- •primary problem (eg, nerve root compression or disc prolapse with true radicular
- •pain/radiculopathy, lateral recess or central spinal stenosis)will be excluded.
- •2\.Patients having Lumbar spine, lower limb or abdominal surgery in previous 6 months will be excluded.
- •3\.Patients Having undergone pain\-relieving procedures such as injection\-based therapy (eg, epidurals) and
- •day care procedures (eg, rhizotomy) in the last 3months will be excluded.
- •4\.Patients with Pregnancy, rheumatological/inflammatory disease (eg, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing
- •spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, lupus erythematosus, Scheuermann’s disease).
- •Progressive neurological disease (eg, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, motor neuron
- •disease)will be excluded.
