This study is prospective, double blinded, randomised controlled study comparing the efficacy of dexmedetomidine and paracetamol alone and in combination on perioperative haemodynamics and postoperative analgesia in patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy under general anesthesia. Laparoscopic surgery a challenge to the anaesthesiologist as it is accompanied with haemodynamic instability and postoperative pain, in this study we are looking for better drug or combination of drugs for attenuating these complications.
