Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Adult patients( age 18\-80 years)
  • •2\. Undergoing elective coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) on
  • •cardiopulmonary bypass.
  • •3\. Preoperative sinus rhythm

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Contraindication of transesophageal echocardiography probe placement
  • •2\. Patients who are not in sinus rhythm and those on inotropic/ IABP support.
  • •3\. Associated severe ischemic mitral regurgitation or any other valvular lesion associated with ischemic heart disease.
  • •4\. Emergency procedure and renal dysfunction
