入选标准
- •Patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
- •Patients having generalised periodontitis.
- •Patients with periodontal probing depths ≥5mm and (CAL)Clinical attachment loss ≥ 3mm.
- •Patients aged 30-60 years of age.
- •Established willingness and ability to perform oral hygiene.
- •HbA1c levels ≥ 5.8% and ≤ 7%.
排除标准
- •Systemic conditions that potentially affect periodontal health but are not related to diabetes.
- •Cigarette smoking iii.
- •Past three months of antibiotic, anti-inflammatory, or periodontal treatment history.
- •Notable modifications to the management of diabetes mellitus over the study period.
