Inclusion Criteria
Essential Hypertension patients, reporting for follow up, who were on standard anti-hypertensive medication as per JNC 8 guidelines.
Exclusion Criteria
Patients on Diuretics, Proton pump inhibitors or any other medication altering magnesium metabolism.
Patients with Chronic Kidney disease,
Critically ill and morbidly obese patients.
