Patients 20 years of age or older admitted to the Fujita Health University Hospital or the National Center for Geriatrics and Gerontrogy, who satisfy both 1 and 2 below
1. Patients who have had a stroke within 90 days of onset and have paralytic edema in the paralyzed hand.
2. Patients who are in stable general condition and who gave written informed consent by patients or proxies after enough explanation to particiate the reserach.
1. patients with unstable general condition, with pacemakers, who have non-removable magnetic materia near the stimulation site, who will discharge within 3 weeks, and with pregnant
2. patients who are deemed inappropriate by the principal or other investigators.
