- Patients (for the calculation of the outcome variables): All emergency patients in the emergency department of the facility
Exclusion Criteria
- Staff: leaving the facility or emergency department during the course of the study, short-term employees

Name Time Method ame: Patient length of stay<br>Measurement: Duration between admission and discharge from the emergency department.<br>Time: Monthly mean and standard deviation across all patients.

Name Time Method ame: Perceived stress level<br>Measurement: Self-assessment, four-point version of the measurement according to Bolino and Turnley (2005) on a 5-point Likert scale. <br>Time: At the end of the shift, reflecting on the shift just completed
