Inclusion Criteria
1. American Society of Anaesthesiology (ASA) physical status 1 and 2
2. Elective strabismus surgery under general anaesthesia.
Exclusion Criteria
1. Presence of any other ocular pathology other than strabismus surgery.
2. Previous history of strabismus surgery.
3. Severe neurological, cardiac and respiratory problems.
4. History of any antiepileptic drugs.
5. Allergy to study drugs.

Name Time Method Time at which patients will be shifted from post Anaesthesia care unit to ward.Timepoint: Time period of patient shifted after surgery in the post Anaesthesia care unit till discharge to ward

Every 5 minutes intraoperatively <br/ ><br>2. postoperatively in postanaesthesia care unit and after shifting to ward at 8 h and 24 h in the ward. <br/ ><br>3.postoperatively in postanaesthesia care unit, in ward at 8 hours and 24 hours postoperatively in the ward <br/ ><br>4.postanaesthesia care unit, and after shifting in ward at 8 hours and 24 hours post-operative <br/ ><br>5.
