Inclusion Criteria
Age â??18 to 65 years
Either gender
Patients with hydrocephalus posted for VP shunt
Exclusion Criteria
1Refusal of consent
2 Presence of previous shunt
3 Patients with external ventricular drain (EVD) in-situ
4 Primary optic nerve pathology or ocular pathology like- myopia, optic neuritis
• Patients with normal pressure hydrocephalus
• Patients with hydrocephalus due to lesion above third ventricle
• Patients requiring mechanical ventilation after shunt surgery

Name Time Method To observe changes in ONSD following VP shunt at 12 hours, compared to pre-shunt values.Timepoint: 0hourrand12hour
