Brief Summary

This study aims to evaluate the effect of scapular stabilization exercises on shoulder range of motion (ROM) and grip strength in college students with high smartphone dependency. A total of 50 participants will be recruited and randomly assigned to either an experimental or control group using a computer-generated randomization system. Baseline measurements of shoulder ROM (goniometer) and grip strength (hand-held dynamometer) will be recorded before intervention. The experimental group will undergo a three-week scapular stabilization program (three sessions per week, 20 minutes per session) focusing on strengthening the serratus anterior, trapezius, and rhomboids. The control group will receive conventional therapy, including upper body stretching, neck isometric exercises, shoulder rolls, and ROM exercises (three sessions per week, 10 minutes per session). Post-intervention assessments will be conducted immediately and at a two-month follow-up to analyze both short- and long-term effects of the intervention. The study ensures participant safety, proper exercise performance, and adherence monitoring throughout the program.
