Patients needing root canal treatment and Class II restoration of at least one maxillary or mandibular premolar tooth with a loss of atleast one proximal wall (mesial or distal) due to primary caries will be included.
1. Individuals with poor oral hygiene, 2. Severe periodontal disease, 3. Bruxism, 4. Any known allergy to the types of materials to be used in the study, 5. Medical histories that could possibly influence the behaviour and performance of the restorations. 6. Teeth without adjacent-teeth contact, 7. Teeth without antagonistic teeth and 8. Teeth with prosthetic abutment
