Inclusion Criteria

Male or Female Subjects aged 18-70 years of age

Subjects Diagnosed of Metabolic syndrome as per ATPIII criteria

Subjects willing to take residential treatment for minimum 21 days.

Exclusion Criteria

Patients not willing to give consent for the study.

H/o CAD, Angina, TMT positive for inducible ischemia.

Those suffering from Renal Calculi or had a history of renal calculi in past with oxalate or phytate calculi.

Uncontrolled hypertension SBP200mmhg, DBP100 mmhg

Uncontrolled diabetes () with or without diabetic nephropathy or microalbuminuria + ve.

Those who are on parental insulin, statins etc.

Patients taking other therapies such as homeopathy / ayurveda etc which can have direct or indirect effect on study variables.

Abnormal RFT as defined by BUN, S Creatinine 1.2, S Uric acid ,

Pregnancy / Lactation,

Those with Hypothyroidism, Cushing?s syndrome, pheochromocytoma.

Intake of steroids / HRT

Those who are regularly practicing yoga for last three months

Those with Major psychiatric illness with cognitive impairments.

Those with known COPD, Congenital heart defects.
