Inclusion Criteria
Patient with short thyromental distance ( <6.5 cm)
Exclusion Criteria
- Patients at risk of aspiration
- Patients undergoing surgery in the prone or lateral positions
- Patients with upper airway tumor or anatomical airway anomaly
- Mouth opening < 2 cm
- Limited neck extension
- Body mass index > 30 kg/m2
- Body weight < 50 kg
- Requiring postoperative mechanical ventilation
