Inclusion Criteria
All consecutive blunt chest trauma patients with clinically suspected pneumothorax on arrival at the ED were prospectively included at our trauma center.
Exclusion Criteria
Overt pneumothorax, patients require immediate invasive interventions, transferred from another hospital, an age younger than 18 years, refractory shock, cardiac arrest.
