Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Adult patients (18\-70 years) undergoing major non\-cardiac surgery defined by major head and neck surgeries, or major intracavitary (abdominal and thoracic) surgeries lasting for more than two hours and/or an expected hospital stay of at least three days.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.Patients undergoing emergency surgeries.
- •2\.Patients undergoing cardiac and neurosurgeries.
- •3\.Pregnant patients.
- •4\.Patients who cannot be extubated at the end of 24 hours (since the QoR is a questionnaire which needs the patient’s co\-operation).
