- Age 20-60 years
- Diagnosis with thyroid mass: thyroid nodule, multinodular goiter, micropapillary carcinoma undergoing hemithyroidectomy at Ramathibodi Hospital
- Agree to sign consent
- Coagulation disorder or on antihemostasis drug such as ASA/warfarin
- Anaplastic thyroid carcinoma
- Patient requiring neck dissection
- Patient that bleeding cannot be stopped during surgery using regular method of bleeding (knot tying/thermal coagulating)
- Patient with previous thyroid operation
- Patient who denied to sign consent
