Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Patients with established diagnosis of PHN with evident allodynia and hyperalgesia, Patients should have had pain for at least 3 months weeks after healing of rash, Patients with pain intensity \=4/10 on (NRS\-Pain Scale)

Exclusion Criteria

  • Patients with history of neurological interventions for PHN, Other source of acute or chronic pain confounding the diagnosis,
  • Patients with recent history ofMI, DM, pancreatitis and vasculitis,Patients with recent history of surgery or intake of pregabalin in last 4 week,
  • Patient with cognition impairment or alcohol/ psychotropic drugs abuse,Patients with a history of treatment with CBT
