Inclusion Criteria
ASA Physical Status I & II
Surgical procedure duration >1 hour
Exclusion Criteria
Patients with history of convulsive disorder, concurrent use of sedative medication, beta blockers or an anti arrhythmic drug; severely depressed cardiac function; hepatic or renal disease.
Patients with severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Obesity( >35kg/m2)
Patients with neurological disorders and recent use of psychotropic drugs or opioids preoperatively
