入排标准
入选标准
- •a) Adults of both sexes
- •b) Age between 18-65 yrs
- •c) Newly diagnosed subjects with prehypertension (JNC-8 classification) (systolic BP [SBP] 120-139 mm Hg and diastolic BP [DBP] 80-89 mm Hg) and of less than one year duration (ICD R03.0)
- •d) New pre-hypertensive patients (those who are accidentally discovered as pre-hypertensives while complaining of some other functional disorders)
排除标准
- •a) Body mass index (BMI) more than 35 kg/m2
- •b) Pregnant and lactating women
- •c) Pre-existing chronic debilitating illness
- •d) Subjects on hormonal contraceptives, steroids or Non steroidal anti-inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs)
- •e) Any uncontrolled systemic illness, psychiatric diseases and life threatening illness
- •f) Self reported immune-compromised patient
- •g) Undergoing homeopathic treatment for any chronic disease within last 6 months.
- •h) Unwilling to take part or not giving consent to join the study
- •i) Unable to read patient information sheet
