Inclusion Criteria
1. Children between 5 to 10years
2. Frankl’s Behaviour Rating 3 (positive), 4 (definitely positive)
3. Premature loss of primary molar
4. Primary molars indicated for extraction
5. Indicated for space maintainers according to cast analysis.
Exclusion Criteria
• The primary second molar is lost early, but the permanent first molar has not erupted
yet.
• More than 2/3rd of root completion.
