- •Patients scheduled for general anesthesia with endotracheal intubation

- •Mallampatti scores greater than 2
- •Recent sore throat
- •Cervical spine disease
- •Recent upper respiratory infection
- •Recent analgesics
- •History of head and neck surgery
- •Friable teeth
- •Multiple intubation attempts
