Primary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
Primary Outcome: Validation of NPQ-D
On the basis of a clinical assessment and screening patients are either voted in or out to be part of a multimodal pain management program.
During the initial assessments patients are asked to fill in the NPQ-D, SF12 (Health Questionnaire) and FABQ (Fear Avoidance Beliefs Questionnaire) and further questionnaire (see secondary outcomes).
Also a population of physiotherapists are asked to fill in the NPQ-D. It is hypothesized that physiotherapist will score significantly better in NPQ-D (Pain knowledge) then the patient population.
The psychometric properties will be measured. Construct validity: Comparing NPQ-D results of patients with professionals. Correlation of SF12, FABQ and NPQ-D.
Floor- and ceiling effects: NPQ-D result analysis. Test-retest reliability and internal consistency. For calculating reliability measures >50 patients will fill in the NPQ-D twice within 7-10 days.
Secondary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
Secondary Outcome:
Correlation of NPQ-D with other parameters from the initial assessment.
QLIP (Quality of Life Impairment by Pain Inventory), DASS 21 (Depression, anxiety and stress scale), FFbH (Funktionsfragebogen Hannover).
