入选标准
- •1. Patients who require central venous catheter placement in the Internal Jugular vein or Subclavian vein.
- •2. Ventilated or Non-ventilated patients.
- •3. Patients of either sex between the age group 18-60 years.
排除标准
- •1. Inability to perform test due to Obesity.
- •2. Inability to visualise Heart due to anatomical limitations.
- •3. Patients with contraindication for CVC placement(coagulopathy,Hemorrhage
- •from target vessel,Suspected proximal vascular injury,infection overlying the
- •insertion site,thrombus within intended vein)
- •4. Patient with chest trauma/Subcutaneus emphysema(which can make USG
- •interpretation difficult)
- •5. Refusal for procedure by patient or patientââ?¬•s relatives.
