1)Age group between 18-60 years
2)American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) physical status 1and2
3)patients undergoing endotracheal intubation under general anaesthesia
1)Morbid obesity(BMI >35kg/metre square)
2)Patients with anticipated difficult airway(Airway difficulty score >8)
3)Patients with increased risk of regurgitation and aspiration of gastric contents
4)Previous upper gastrointestinal surgery
5)Coagulopathy or history of anticoagulant use
6)Cardiorespiratory or cerebrovascular disease
7)Cervical spine pathology and
8)Pregnancy
