Age 18 years or more
Scheduled to undergo a medically indicated colonoscopy
Willing to give written informed consent
Comorbid conditions like - Diabetes mellitus, hypertension, Chronic liver disease, acute or chronic heart failure , arrhythmic disorder, renal failure, dyselectrolytemia.
Suspected or previously diagnosed intestinal stricture of any etiology
Pregnant or lactating women
Patients on anticoagulations
Past history of bowel resection or any abdominal surgery
Severe psychological disease limiting capacity to complete the preparation.
Altered consciousness
History of opiates/narcotic, anti-diarrheal medicines, oral iron supplementation , use in last 14 days before colonoscopy
Chronic constipation as defined by ROME â??III criteria
History of allergic reaction to PEG
Unable or unwilling to consume all components of the study drug including aversions to or adverse events from flavoring
Emergent surgery
A past history of inadequate bowel preparation, and refusal to participate.Â
Patient suffering from severe neurologic diseases.
Refusal to participate or inability to provide informed consent
