Inclusion Criteria

1)Patients with bilateral intermediate to advanced dry ARMD , geographic atrophy

2)Stable neovascular type ARMD with central macular scar of > 500 micron to 1 DD

3)Patients having snellens Visual acuity of less than 6/12 to 3/60

4)Patients having significant B/l senile cataract

5)Patients who give voluntary informed written onsent to be a part of the study

Exclusion Criteria

1)Untreated / uncontrolled neovascular ARMD

2)Untreated / uncontrolled diabetic maculopathy

3)Vision better than 6/12

4)Pseudoexfoliation syndrome

5)Fuchs endothelial dystrophy

6)Pregnancy

7)Zonular laxity

8)Prior keratorefractive surgery

9)Prior penetrating keratoplasty

10)Prior retinal detachment surgery

11)Glaucoma / Pale disc

12)Those who are not willing to be a part of the study
