Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Pregnancies between 28 and 34 weeks of gestation
  • •2\. Singleton pregnancies

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Period of gestation 30 weeks.
  • •2\. Period of gestation 34 weeks.
  • •3\. Previous history of receiving antenatal steroids.
  • •4\. Multiple gestations.
  • •5\. Obvious fetal and uterine anomalies.
  • •6\. Contraindications to steroids like systemic infections and peptic ulcer disease.
  • •7\. Mothers on drugs like magnesium sulphate and benzodiazepines which alter NST pattern in fetus.
