- •1. Pregnancies between 28 and 34 weeks of gestation
- •2. Singleton pregnancies
排除标准
- •1. Period of gestation 30 weeks.
- •2. Period of gestation 34 weeks.
- •3. Previous history of receiving antenatal steroids.
- •4. Multiple gestations.
- •5. Obvious fetal and uterine anomalies.
- •6. Contraindications to steroids like systemic infections and peptic ulcer disease.
- •7. Mothers on drugs like magnesium sulphate and benzodiazepines which alter NST pattern in fetus.
