Inclusion Criteria
Patients belonging to either sex of age 18 to 65 years of ASA status I and II scheduled to undergo elective lower abdominal surgery under spinal anaesthesia
Exclusion Criteria
Pregnant and breast feeding women
Preexisting cardiac disease renal disorder hepatic disease psychiatric and coagulation disorder
Patient refusal to participate
Any contraindication to spinal anaesthesia
History of allergy to study drugs
Those receiving long term analgesic therapy
Any other contraindications for using pregabalin and gabapentin
