Inclusion Criteria
PATIENTS DIAGNOSED WITH SEPSIS (SEVERE INFLAMMATORY RESPONSE SYNDROME WITH A PROVEN OR SUSPECTED SOURCE OF INFECTION)
Exclusion Criteria
1. Patients receiving Platelet transfusions, FFP
2. Patients with Haematological malignancies
3. Patients with ITP, Reactive Thrombocytosis
4. Patients on Immunosuppresants, Anti platelet
drugs
5. Patients with pre-existing autoimmune
condition, on Chemo Therapy and/or Radiation
