- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Comparison of heart rate response (HR) at 1 min following nasal intubation with opioid free general anaesthesia using intravenous lignocaine versus standard regimen in patients undergoing major head and neck surgeries.Timepoint: 1 min following nasal intubation
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Comparison of heart rate before induction, after induction, 3and 5min after intubation in opioid free general anaesthesia versus standard regimen. Systolic, Diastolic and Mean arterial pressure (MAP) at the same time points, time required to intubate and number of attempts at intubation will also be compared.Timepoint: before induction, after induction, 3and 5min after intubation
