  • •Patients undergoing procedure requiring general anaesthesia with endotracheal incubation lasting \>2hrs

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Patients refusal
  • •Patients with known chronic respiratory disease
  • •Pts undergoing cardiac thorasic neurosurgical procedures
  • •Surgery with significant changes in hemodynamics
