They will be recruited from Centre for Addiction Medicine, National Institute of Mental Health And Neurosciences (NIMHANS) from the outpatient department and inpatient department.
3.Diagnosed with Opioid dependence syndrome (prescription and street Opioids) as per ICD-10
4.Patients stabilized by medications for withdrawal symptoms
5.Willingness to provide written informed consent
1.H/o or current medical illness that may significantly influence CNS function or structure
2.Patients with intractable pain due to other diseases
3.Patients on prescribed opioids for pain of other medical conditions
4.General impaired intellectual functioning (Mini-Mental Status Exam, MMSE below24 )
5.Contraindication to MRI like metal implants or paramagnetic objects within the body or claustrophobia
6.Past history of head injury
7.Concomitant severe medical conditions
8.Those with co-morbid alcohol/BZD/Cannabis/Multiple substance dependence except nicotine
9.H/o receiving specific Yoga practice for Opioid dependence in the past
10.Pregnancy or post-partum
