Inclusion Criteria

Elderly people over the age of 60 years; elderly people which are not included in a regular physical exercise program

Exclusion Criteria

Elderly people who might have any clinical conditions that contraindicate the practice of physical activity; elderly people with cognitive deficits that might limit the performance of assessments and/or interventions (present under 19 points on the Mini Mental State Examination)

Primary Outcome Measures

It is expected, after carrying out the intervention, to find an average difference of 30 meters in the functional capacity of the elderly women after reassessment using the Six-Minute Walk Test. It is expected, after carrying out the intervention, to find an average difference of 2 points in the degree of frailty after reassessing the Edmonton Frailty Scale. It is expected, after carrying out the intervention, to find an average difference of 3 points in the degree of clinical-functional vulnerability after reassessment using the 20-item Clinical-Functional Vulnerability Index scale. It is expected, after carrying out the intervention, to find an average difference of 5 seconds during the reapplication of the Timed Up and Go Test among the elderly participants in the study
