Inclusion Criteria
OSA patients had an apnea-hypopnea index (AHI) of at least thirty events per hour.
Exclusion Criteria
No history of treatment for OSA with CPAP or oral devices, tracheostomy, or use of oxygen therapy at home. Patients with a history of cardiovascular disease, autoimmune conditions, or symptoms of respiratory tract infection in the six weeks prior to the study
