The study found that approximately 33% who were feeding intolerance in trauma patient ,and ginger has been shown to have a prokinetic effect.We will study about effect of ginger extract to reduce enteral feeding intolerance in trauma patients at Siriraj Hospital.

Inclusion Criteria

1. injury severity score > 15
2. Enteral Feeding via NG or OG tube

Exclusion Criteria

1. Underlying disease scleroderma , Polymyositis ,SLE , progressive muscular dystrophy ,Amyloidosis , Zollinger-Ellison syndrome
2.Poor control diabetes mellitus
3. Poor control thyroid disease
4.History of gastric surgery
5. Clinical Gastrointestinal Obstruction
6. Abnormal digestive tract
7.Infection
8.End of life patient.
9. Recieved prokinetic drugs within 3 days
10.On anticoagulants or antiplatelets
11.History of gallstone
12.Pregnancy
13.Fluid restricted patients
14.Coagulopathy
17.Ginger allergy
18.Unconscious patient
