简要总结
VBRT is a strength training method that prescribes load at a given concentric velocity according to the personalized load velocity profile regression equation and completes a certain number of repetitions
The need of a study on VBRT in India is multifaceted and highly impactful for scientific community & general population with following key points
1 Enhancing Training Specificity where VBRT helps in determining optimal velocity and specific load leading to individualized training.
2 Noticeable research gap on VBRT application in the Indian context. This study can fill that void by providing evidence-based data on how VBRT can improve physical fitness among Indians.
3 Scalability for All Fitness Levels. VBRT is not exclusively for highly trained athletes but can be adapted for individuals at all fitness levels
4 Guiding Training Protocols for Young Adults. By focusing on young adults, the study can contribute to developing training protocols that maximize physical fitness and functional performance
5 VBRT’s emphasis on safety and optimal load can help in reducing musculoskeletal injuries and cardiovascular risks
Hence the current study aims to compare the efficacy of velocity based resistance training & percentage based resistance training on enhancing physical fitness and functional performance in young adults
Primary hypothesis Velocity based resistance training more effective than percentage based resistance training in enhancing physical fitness and functional performance in young adults
Null Hypothesis There is no significant difference between velocity based resistance training and percentage based resistance training in improving physical fitness and functional performance in young adults
Alternative Hypothesis velocity based resistance training and percentage based resistance training are equally effective in enhancing physical fitness and functional performance in young adults
