入排标准
入选标准
- •3 or more rib fractures with bi-cortical displacement with or without Flailchest
排除标准
- •Age <16yrs
- •Hemodynamic instability
- •Delayed presentation or referred cases beyond 48 hours of primary injury.
- •Patients with AIS score >= 4 other than chest region.
- •Patient with posterior rib fracture within 2cm of transverse process
- •ï?· Patients with concomitant severe head injury or high cervical cord injury precluding weaning
- •from mechanical ventilator.
- •Patients with underlying primary lung disease and / or cardiac illness
- •Patients with fractures involving 1st and 2nd ribs or 11th and 12th ribs.
