Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Children diagnosed with mild to moderate type of gingivitis.
  • •2\. Children and parents/guardians who are willing to give written consent.

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Children with any other systemic/psychological conditions.
  • •2\. Children with any history of allergy reactions to herbal medicaments or chlorhexidine.
  • •3\. Children under other medications such as anti\-inflammatory drugs, antibiotics, and steroids within the past 3 months.
  • •4\. Children using any type of antibacterial mouth rinse within four weeks of commencement of the study.
  • •5\. Children are unwilling to complete the treatment protocol.
