Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Children who have moderate to severe caries experience(more than 3 and less than 6\)(WHO 2013\)
  • Gingival scores should be moderate and plaque scores should be fair according to plaque and gingival indices proposed by Silness and Loe(1964\) and Loe and Silness (1963\) respectively.

Exclusion Criteria

  • No History of antibiotic therapy in the previous one month till the start of the study.
  • Not Currently using any mouthwashes or have used mouthwash in the past 1 month.
  • No Physical disability ,debilitating disease or mentally challenged or with gross orofacial defect.
  • No orthodontic therapy
  • No History of allergy to any kind of mouthwash.
  • Stopped using the allocated test mouthwash during the period of study was considered a dropout.
